Operation Statant is in full swing with NATO forces striking across the inner German border in force toward in a preemptive raid to disrupt what they believe to be WARPAC preparations for an invasion of West Germany.
Meanwhile a taskforce has been assembled for the next stage of NATOs preemptive strike begins.
NATO command is concerned about the WARPAC Naval Forces in the Baltic and wishes to keep them out of action for as long as possible while NATO organises it forces in Denmark. In order to do this a series of raids on WARPAC held islands in the Baltic has been authorised.
